NobleHour provides online community software that helps track and measure service-learning, community service and volunteering initiatives at schools, non-profits, businesses and more. To support our continued growth, we are hiring a Junior Front End Developer who brings a passion for collaboration, communication, and building reliable, well-constructed software.


The Position

In this role, you’ll craft fluid views and interactions, build scalable and modular styles with Twitter Bootstrap, and develop reusable, efficient, well-tested components in JavaScript (React, Redux, Styled Components). You’ll collaborate with our product team and other developers to translate visual designs, user experience flows and content into functional and engaging interfaces.

Engineering Team + Tech Stack

Our Front End team uses the newest technologies consisting mainly of React + Redux, ES6 Javascript, along with Webpack and Jest/Enzyme for unit testing. They also help work on a legacy codebase, consisting of Go, Bootstrap, ES5/jQuery, Handlebars.js, Less, etc. Front End developers contribute to the creative process by determining technology recommendations and guidelines, and strive to maintain an open culture where everyone is a contributor and feels comfortable sharing ideas and opinions.
